Time to post a review for my new gaming keyboard.. the Razer Lycosa Mirror Special Edition. One of the best selling point for the Lycosa Mirror is the customizability of every single key on the board. The features of Lycosa Mirror are backlit keys, pass-through USB, headphone and microphone jacks, media touchpad and fully customizable keys. The Lycosa Mirror arrives in a very pretty and attractive, good packaging with multiple textures and a holographics print.
Technical Specifiation for the Lycosa Mirror:
- High gloss mirror finish keytop
- Backlit illumination with WASD cluster lighting option
- Fully-programmable keys with macro capability
- Gaming cluster with selective anti-ghosting capability
- Slim keycap structure with Hyperesponse™ technology
- TouchPanel™ easy access media keys
- Gaming mode option for deactivation of the Windows key
- 10 customizable software profiles with on-the-fly switching
- 1000Hz Ultrapolling™ / 1ms response time
- Earphone-out and microphone-in jacks
- Detachable wrist rest
- One integrated USB extension port
- Approximate size:
- 469mm (length) x 168mm (width) x 15mm (height) – without wrist rest
- 469mm (length) x 221mm (width) x 15mm (height) – with wrist rest
I was really happy when i bought this keyboard. The price is around P4,100 or $90. Once you open the box a large razer logo will popup, a note from the razerguy himself, and a nice dark package that holds the keyboard bundle.
The Lycosa Mirror is completely built from shiny plastic, even the keys and the wrist rest are shiny. You might also notice that the keys are hardly readable without backlight. With the backlight open the keys are more clear even in daytime. The media touchpad has the play/pause, stop, volume, back/forward keys and the on/off backlight. The keyboard has a nice software too. You can fully customize the keyboard settings and more using the software that’s included.
